The Belle Epoque (“Beautiful Era”), roughly 1871-1914; Paris’s golden age, defined by peace, prosperity, and unparalleled cultural innovation. The Montmartre district of Paris was home to thriving impressionist art, cafe culture, and the birth of cabaret. Sweet Tease has always been enamored by the period. Our February Afternoon tea “Le Vie En Rose” is inspired by Edith Piaf…one the greatest stars of the period. If you love to paint(talent or no) join us as we turn 2 layer 5x5 cake into the perfect canvas. Be as risque as you like…and then eat the evidence. Space is limited so book early. Reservations include everything you need to create your masterpiece, along with petite Croque Monsieur’s, Linzer Tarts and bottomless pots of tea.
